Particularly valid in light of the thought I had last night—what if Thanos brainwashed Loki too? The Hulk flailing him around in Tony’s penthouse was the equivalent of Natasha hitting Clint in the head a couple of times?
Think about it—who looked like they were walking around with the flu? Clint, Erik, and…Loki. Really, he looks like *shit* when he first comes through the portal.
Hawkeye was still Hawkeye while under Loki’s control—he used his skills as an archer, a master assassin, and a spy to further Loki’s goal.
Loki ranting about subjugation in Stuttgart never made sense to me. He wasn’t interested in that in Thor. He didn’t think one way or another about Earth and the humans. He was just focused on Thor and Odin and their massive universe-spanning family drama.
There’s probably more to this, but I’s a seepy princess.
